A Conversation on Bias and Juries

Description: The Diversity Committee of the Federal Bar Association-Minnesota Chapter and the Federal Bar Association-University of Minnesota Law School Chapter are pleased to host a CLE event featuring a panel discussion on the issue of bias—both explicit and implicit—and juries. The panel will include Judge Mark Bennett, who has conducted extensive research on the impact of implicit bias in the courtroom. He was the first judge in the United States to instruct jurors on implicit bias. Judge Bennett will be joined by distinguished panelists with prosecutorial, defense, and judicial perspectives on the issue.

CLE Credits: One hour of elimination of bias CLE credit has been applied for.
