*Technology, Ethics, and the Law

  • Hellmuth & Johnson Minneapolis (map)

*Free for newly admitted lawyers only

Description: North Dakota Supreme Court Justice Daniel Crothers and computer forensics expert Mark Lanterman will lead a conversation concerning the intersection of law, ethics, and technology. Commercial attorneys strive to move at the speed of business to meet their clients’ needs; meanwhile, business clients operate in markets that evolve at an ever-accelerating pace. An increasing number of technologies are available to help lawyers and their clients to do more, faster.  How are our ethical obligations as lawyers impacted by constant technological change? And, how can we stay up to speed with our clients and modern technology while complying with the ethical obligations of our profession?  Justice Crothers and Mr. Lanterman will explore these questions and related topics in what is sure to be an engaging conversation.

Join us after the program for a complimentary social from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM.
